We’re Hiring for Continental Day Shift

• Continental Day Shift: 8:00am – 8:30pm

• Starting Salary: $21.00 /hour

• Continental Day Shift Premium: $0.50 /hour

What You Get To Do:

General Duties

• Work as a team to achieve production, quality and safety goals

• Reduce and/or eliminate scrap and inefficiencies by identifying problems and possible corrective measures

• Follow human resources, environmental health and safety, and policies

• Complete all job-related paperwork as required.

• Ensure work areas are clean, organized and safe from any hazards

Provide “on the job training”, including training on Netsuite to new employees

• Provide training, mentoring, direction, and sharing shipping and receiving duties with crew and new


• Monitor, report absenteeism, hazards, accidents, non-compliant performance

• Participate in accident investigations and work refusals

• Attend work related training

• Assist in production duties such as operating production equipment and quality control

• Any other duties as required

Shipping and Receiving Duties

• Safe operation of Forklift

• Safe operation of overhead bridge crane

• Receiving all inbound goods timely, accurately and with required inspection procedures and


• Shipping of all outbound goods timely, accurately and with appropriate documentation

• Safely wrap, label, and palletize all goods for transit internally or externally

• Maintain, count, track and monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods

• Report all shipping/receiving quantities and shipments in the ERP system

• Aiding in all activities associated with raw material supply

• Wrap, strap and correctly label all materials used and produced

• Review product for quality and conformance standards and reporting to supervisor when issues are


• Any other duties as required

What We Are Ideally Looking For:

• At least one year of manufacturing experience or equivalent

• 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience or equivalent

• Valid counterbalance forklift certification

• 2-3 year of counterbalance forklift experience

• Lift up to 50 lbs on a repetitive basis

• Stand for 12.5 hours

• Unionized position

• Follow work instructions and take initiative

• Clear criminal record check required
