Our client is a leader in the Construction space urgently looking for an HR Manager to join their team. They are growing rapidly, have an outstanding work environment and culture. They are looking for someone to hit the ground running and stay long-term.

Tasks will include:

  • Maintaining Employee Relations
  • Managing the two different facilities
  • Delivering essential day-to-day HR tasks
  • Coordinating Onboarding of new employees
  • Support for Employee Training and programs
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of HR Policy, Procedure and Programs
  • Solid knowledge of Ontario employment law and Union environments
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to managing competing priorities
  • Multi union experience

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years prior work experience in a Human Resources generalist in a manufacturing or construction environment
  • Facilities management experience, either hands on or managing the work of others
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
  • CHRP / CHRL designation required
