Our client in Montreal is currently looking for a Director of Operations to join there team on a fulltime basis.


You will develop a professional connectivity products and solutions operations team to work collaboratively with internal technical, commercial, executive teams and channel partners, customers. You will be an excellent communicator who is self-motivated and comfortable working in a global, matrix, fast-paced environment. You will work cross-functionally with a variety of internal groups as well as with external partners, to improve the quality of our products, services, as well as the efficiency and scalability of our operations. You will be very detail oriented with growth mindset and ability to lead the organization in best operational efficiency practice. You are not afraid to learn new things.


– Hands-on leader, who takes full accountability from conception through implementation of critical operational initiatives

– A leader who is able to motivate, inspire, and develop team members

– Design, Document and Implement the operationalization of new products and services, translate into servicing handling and clear actions

– Build and lead a professional operations and service delivery team

– Support teams on medium/long-term planning, resourcing, and organizational design

– Drive operational reviews and rhythm of the business that use analysis and established critical metrics

– Identify, scope and drive critical projects and initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams across the organization

– Drive efficiency of our products servicing work-streams to ensure outstanding customer service and support

– Orchestrating the organization through the execution operational best practices in support of the market needs (both upstream and downstream) to ultimately ensure on-time delivery to our channel partners and customers

– Develop and drive improvements across internal and external partners to create best-in-class operational experiences through collaboration, leadership and a customer-focused approach Experience

– Share information about global best practices, innovative ideas, and collaborative opportunities

– Champion the development and implementation of consistent controls, policies, and procedures throughout operations and supply chain

– Perform assessments utilizing analytical skills to understand the environments and associated financial opportunities

– Develop and deploy internal controls and organizational metrics dashboards

– Develop, manage and lead continuous process improvement strategies and initiatives

– Deliver training, coach and mentor Project Champions

– Execute a portion of the scope of work as assigned and ensure deliverables are achieved on time and within budget

– Leverage the flexibility of Agile, Six Sigma, and OKR Performance Improvement practice to enhance operational efficiency

Experience and Qualifications

– 7+ years of Operations Management experience in telecom, internet and cloud

– Managing teams with objectives and key results (OKR)

– Managing agile teams with modern development and support project management and ticketing practices

– Operationalized several new products to market

– Designing, deploying, managing advanced network and cloud infrastructure

o Cloud IaaS such as public Azure, AWS as well as private hypervisor clouds and hybrid of both

– Experience with Cellular network core, RAN, edge, and SIM life cycles

– Experience with connected products, IoT/M2M technologies, systems platforms, and solutions

– Advanced O365/Teams/Dynamics/Azure DevOps use and administration

– Location to be discussed

– Post-Covid safe travel will be required

– English speaking and writing, Spanish and/or French a plus
