Our client is a leading fashion brand name recognized for its unique brand and following across North America. Working with teams across North America and with a strong presence in Quebec as well, our client is seeking a talented Digital Marketing Strategist to join their marketing team in a lead role. This position reports to the VP, Marketing based out of Montreal.

As our Digital Marketing Manager, you will manage all aspects of our clients digital marketing strategies/ initiatives. They are looking for someone with a strategy and business background and expertise in SEO, strong copywriting, super creative and social media savvy who can expand our clients brand awareness within the digital world. This person needs not only be an expert at social media presence but be able to work with the analytics to measure performance and strategic brand recognition plans

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, administer, monitor, oversee and analyze data related to all social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google +, YouTube and Instagram;
  • Clearly promote and communicate our brand and product offerings through all digital assets;
  • Maintain and continually enhance the brands social media presence;
  • Maintain and continually enhance the ecommerce website with focus on SEO;
  • Recommend and implement effective digital marketing campaigns and initiatives/strategies;
  • Measure and communicate performance (generate weekly reports) of all our digital properties and initiatives;
  • Ensure the website’s efficiency in terms of ease of use, speed, content and updates;
  • Ensure it is easy and productive to communicate with us through our digital assets;
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights;
  • Collaborate with key internal teams (sales, marketing and product development) to spread key brand messages;
  • Assist with the development of email blasts (using MailChimp) and marketing support materials;
  • Copyright for internal/external communication of all marketing and online matters; and
  • Assist with implementation of any special events or marketing initiatives;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in digital marketing and marketing or solid experience in the digital media field
  • Proven experience with email marketing, lead generation, SEO and Facebook & Instagram advertisement campaigns;
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords and Google Shopping campaigns; Solid knowledge of website and SEO analytic tools;
  • Excellent grasp of social medial and website metrics and best practices;
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, team focus, exceptional leadership, writing and data analysis skills;
  • Creativity to break through with bold marketing ideas while staying true to our client’s brand values; and
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English and French are a must.
