Your tasks as a Level 2 Business Solutions Analyst:

  • Act as a Technical leader in the workspace
  • Meet the requirements from clients and business stakeholders to synthesize findings into business/functional /technical requirements and architectural design
  • Form a common understanding of the problem, the potential solutions and deliver solutions to internal and external clients in accordance with corporate standards and industry best practices
  • Establish and document business and technical requirements on assigned accounts’ initiatives and projects
  • Serve as the center of software development project team – interacting with business users and subject matter experts, project management, technical development, quality assurance, and end users
  • Manage, categorize IT Business and Technical documentation using standard systems and platforms
  • Assist in the Business case development of IT projects, IT assessments, certification processes, audits, creation of Statement of Work (SOW) and RFP/RFI responses
  • Provide resource allocation assessments for projects and RFPs
  • Provide consulting and professional consulting and mentorship services to internal and external clients on payment technologies and solutions for data transfer, data mapping and processing, reporting, cryptography, printing, card productions and other technical and related disciplines
  • Create and refine preliminary design / mockup of new functionality and develop flow charts, functional diagrams and descriptions to communicate application design specifications
  • Support IT Quality Control team in preparing test cases
  • Participate and support IT Development and Testing
  • Assist in administration of issue logs on assigned projects
  • Possess stakeholder management skills and presentation skills
  • Data analysis for gap analysis, risk assessment and statistical analysis
  • Provide coaching to junior BSAs

The required qualifications for the Level 2 business solutions analyst position:

  • Must have knowledge of Systems/Software Development Life Cycle and Project Management concepts
  • Must have a University degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or relevant technical discipline
  • Must have knowledge of the Payment industry and EMV
  • Having knowledge of Mobile Payment technology
  • Minimum of 5 years of programming or technical support and testing experience
  • High level of computer competency in Microsoft Office Products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Knowledge and understanding of UML
  • Knowledge of SAP Systems, iQ system, MS Power BI, OpenText Dialog Extreme, Confluence, JIRA, Salesforce, SharePoint
  • Strong track record of leading technical solutions in fast paced, customer focused environment
  • Analytical, detail-oriented with excellent planning and problem-solving skills as well as critical thinking
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Have a high level of urgency balanced against measured thinking and attention to detail
  • Have the ability to work independently and take responsibility for actions as well as the ability to conceptualize, analyze, and implement efficient workflows
  • Have the ability to work successfully in fast paced Agile and cross-functional matrix environment
  • Must have superior verbal and written communications skills including presentation at every level of the organization
  • Strong facilitation skills to elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis
  • Technical knowledge of printing and secured card manufacturing process
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Disciplined approach to reporting, metrics, and performance management
  • Ability to lead team members
  • Programming experience with SQL Server, XML, C++, C, Java, Web services, Data communication methods an asset
  • Strong understanding of client-server architectures, cryptography concepts and data management methodologies
  • Strong understanding of requirement gathering concepts, test and used cases modeling, Jira defect tracking tool and testing methodologies
  • SAP system knowledge is nice to have
  • Must wear safety shoes when attending an operations plant
