Our client is a software company currently seeking an experienced, proactive, and effective Business Development Manager to develop in the UK.
Our client also offers competitive salary, health benefits, paid cellphone expenses and a generous bonus structure!
Due to the time differences, the work hours will be 5:00AM to 1:30PM
As a Business Developer, you will be responsible to promote our platform to retailers and logistics companies, specifically small to medium businesses.
Responsibilities
- Curate a clear business plan
- You will have creative control and encouraged to develop your own long-lasting business relationships by building a solid network to your image
- Generating sales through prospecting activities through networking, cold calling, and customer references
- Generate your own appointments and/or business opportunities
- Generate sales through telephone prospecting and visits to potential customers
- Evaluate customer needs and identify new opportunities
- Promote our platform and solutions to our customers
- Perform any other tasks assigned to you by your sales manager
- Ability to seek out and secure new prospects
Qualifications
- High School diploma or higher
- At least 3-4 years of experience
- Relevant experience in sales of SAAS platforms
- Comfortable with the use of technology
- Experience in sales in the logistics industry (a great asset)
- Ability to work with predetermined goals and sales targets
- Ability to attract prospects
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Proficiency of Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides
