We are currently searching for an IT Specialist who will be responsible for supporting local IT activities at the office, trouble shooting and maintenance of POS at stores, communicating and coordinating with HQ to update POS, and assisting the IT Manager. The chosen candidate will also be responsible for configuring hardware and software, setting up computers and printers and providing daily support for computer network users, ensuring that users are able to interact with specific hardware and software successfully.

Your tasks as an IT specialist:

  • Maintain/Replace/Setup IT assets regularly
  • Response to IT inquiries
  • Monitor and ensure proper functioning of the IT system and response to errors as needed
  • Update and maintain POS for stores
  • Analyze the needs and meets all specifications by modifying existing
  • Communicate, support and follow-up with HQ on all projects regarding POS, make sure they’re delivered on-time
  • Support IT Manager with requests and activities
  • Report and assist complex planning and implementation of systems that is carried out by the IT Team
  • Liaise with HQ offices for major projects and develop reports requested by Headquarter offices
  • Train New Hires on how to use internal company systems
  • Report on a daily and weekly basis the IT activities, updates and projects

The required qualifications for the IT specialist position:

  • Minimum Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Computer Science or Engineering, Information Technology preferred or any relevant technology field
  • At least 4 years of experience in a IT role
  • Experience in POS is required
  • Experience in SAP, EDI and Network is an advantage, preferred
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong IT operational background
  • Bilingual (Korean-English) is required
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skill
  • Have strong written and oral communication
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Meticulous, analytical and independent
  • Possess a strong sense of urgency, able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • A confident self-starter with a high level of drive
  • Self-motivated, committed, determined, diligent and trustworthy nature
  • Results oriented, resourceful, resilient, meticulous, has initiative, and willing to be “hands-on” when required
  • Willing to work beyond contractual work hours when required
  • Good listener and a dedicated team player that is willing to help others
