Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will assist the Finance team by acting as general accounting support and providing payroll support to three companies. Performing duties as assigned, this team-member will shadow all existing team members to act as a support and replacement when necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the compiling and submission of payroll data bi-monthly for three companies, on two platforms,
  • Understanding the payroll systems enough to fill in during manager’s vacations, or absences
  • Assist with any and all payroll related duties and take on special projects as assigned
  • Assist with the maintenance of accounting files for several companies , training on all accounting practices to month end trail balance closing
  • Support the Financial Liaison officer with documentation support and special projects as assigned
  • Assist with maintenance of files

Requirements:

  • 2+ years full cycle payroll and accounting experience
  • Working knowledge of accounting and payroll functions
  • Working knowledge of financial compliance parameters as it applies to purchases and expenses
  • Professionalism, maturity and good interpersonal skills
  • Team oriented and ability to work with others
  • Proficiency with MS Office,
  • Computer literate and ability to learn with software
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to easily rely information
  • Reliable and highly disciplined with respect to the standard of output and the meeting of deadlines
  • Ability to work with sensitive information
